LifePointe Church: Mission Do-able

Atlantc Professional Audio was recently called upon to rally skills from all areas of its expertise in designing the entire audio production system for Windermere Ministries LifePointe Church of Windermere, Florida.
According to Angelo Ballestero, who is Music Minister for LifePointe and was in charge of the specification and procurement of the system, Atlantic's mission was to design an all inclusive audio solution, complete from all major audio components and even some musical instruments, to custom cabling and custom transportation cases. Additionally, the entire system was to be a turnkey plug and play concept, designed to be eminently user friendly, considering that most of the people operating it would be church volunteers.
To further complicate the task at hand, upon its delivery, all the gear was to fit within the footprint of a specific size trailer. Oh . . . did we fail to mention that LifePointe is a completely portable church?!!
Following a series of conferences with Angelo and other ministry officials, Craig Beyrooti, CEO of Atlantic Professional Audio, was able to specify a compliment of products that would effectively accomplish the mission set forth. Keeping budgetary considerations in mind, but not wanting to fall short in the area of performance, all parties ultimately agreed on a system based around a Yamaha PM5D console and JBL VRX speakers powered by Crown amplifiers. Other items in the system consisted of a complete microphone compliment including mics by AKG, Shure, Countryman and multiple wireless and IEM systems from Sennheiser, as well as Alesis HD24s and powered monitors and a portable Pro Tools system with Focusrite mic pre.
The JBL speaker systems were pre-mounted and custom housed on Vermette lifts for ease of transport and set up. All cases and racks were custom built to Atlantic's specifications by Classic Cases of Sanford, Florida. Atlantic Professional Audio provided personnel for the initial training, set up and operation of the system to ensure future trouble free operation.
