St. Ann’s Catholic Church Install

October 30, 2009
Jim Latham of St. Ann’s Catholic Church found APA through or long-time customer St. Mary Magdelan Catholic Church. Jim was in search for a company who could replace his existing audio system with a more up-to-date PA. St. Ann’s received multiple quotes but in the end chose APA.
APA installed Turbosound’s TCS-122/94 for the mains and TCS-B15A’s for the subs. Also, a TCS-61/106 monitor for the band. All speakers were white to match the color-scheme in the sanctuary, this called for the rigging to be ordered special so that it would match the white as well.
The church specifically asked for Yamaha gear so APA installed the 01V96 console and PC9501N and PC6501N for amplifiers.
While in the middle of the install it became apparent the chapel would need a bit of help also, so we decided to add it into the scope of the project without affecting the quoted cost of the install. We did this by hanging the speakers slightly further back in the main hall making the originally designed side falls unnecessary. We were able to use that budgeted money on the chapel.
